So we bring you the visual highlights, lowlights and some of the finer details of New York and London Autumn/Winter 2014 Fashion, fresh from the hubs of Lincoln Centre and Somerset House. Keep your eye on the Luxury Closet blog for more coverage of fashion weeks to come!

BETSEY JOHNSON, ALWAYS UNIQUE
Eccentric Betsey, known for her cartwheels and unique antics on the runway added splits to her routine this year. An unconventional move for a 71-year old, we can only agree with her young counterparts bemused expression.
WHO SAID MODELS HAVE IT EASY?
Backstage at Philosophy a group of seven make-up artists and hairstylists tackle one model at once. Now we know how much effort goes into a single model.
MICHEAL KORS MOTIVATES HIS MODELS
An inspirational note from the designer himself is what it takes to have his models give in their best for his successful shows! How could you not be driven to give your all?
PACKED FRONT ROW
With London Fashion week at its best, we see the front row bursting with VIPs and stars, Anna Wintour leading the pack.
HUNTER MAKES A SPLASH
Bootmaker Hunter Original Flooded the catwalk yesterday with spectacular waterproofs to suit the English weather. Splashing on the wet runway, the models wore hues of greens, browns as well as metallic. With the weather being one of the wettest in Britain, its perfect timing!
RODARTE GOES FOR STAR WARS INSPIRATION
Rodarte never fails to amaze! His runway décor consisted of strip lighting installed in the middle of the floor like rays of the sun, with spokes of bicycle wheels around.
The glitter coats/parkas gave off a furturistic air, while the Star Wars themed dresses stole the show during the finale.
STREET STYLE AT LONDON FASHION WEEK
CONSTRUCTION WORKER CHIC
You can pinpoint London fashion designer Ashish’s pieces from a mile away. A New York fashion week guest was spotted wearing a bright sequined vest from his latest collection. With that vibrant hue and sparkly sheen, she’ll certainly be singled out in the midst of a demolition zone.
ROCHA’S RUFFLES
The Rocha collection saw huge ruffled necks and head pieces made from silk organza material, which overpowered the models’ facial features. The pieces seem to represent the idea of flowers and added a truly exceptional feel to the collection.
ALEXANDER WANG’S TREK WAS WORTH IT
Though attendees of Alexander Wang’s show had to make the trek across the Brooklyn Bridge to an old Navy warehouse, any negativity was soon dismissed once the show began. Strobelights, serious faces, and utilatrian fashion flooded the stage as the thunder bellowed from around the distant venue.
With mounting excitement we await what the couturiers of Milan & Paris have to bring us after the escalating fashion fever from New York & London.
